Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 May 2026
1. Who we are
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Eazyhosting (“we”, “us”, “our”), a trading name of Franky Smith trading as EazyHosting UK, a sole trader based in England.
Our address is 7 Buckby Drive, Burton Latimer, Kettering, NN15 5FU, United Kingdom. You can contact us at sales@eazyhosting.uk or on +44 7584 048 875.
By placing an order or using our services you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. What services we provide
Eazyhosting provides the following services (“Services”):
- Shared web hosting (Linux, WordPress, Windows and Website Builder plans)
- Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting
- Domain name registration and renewal
- SSL certificates
- Associated services including email hosting, DNS management and domain privacy
Our Services are provided through the 20i reseller platform. Certain elements of service delivery are subject to 20i’s own terms and policies, which we incorporate by reference where applicable.
Services are intended for lawful commercial and personal use. We reserve the right to add, modify or withdraw individual services at any time, subject to reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Account registration
To purchase services you must create an account via our client area. You must provide accurate and complete information at registration and keep your details up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@eazyhosting.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Accounts may only be held by individuals aged 18 or over, or by organisations with authority to enter legally binding contracts.
4. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected service. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion. Acceptance occurs when we confirm your order and, where applicable, provision the service or register the domain name.
Automated order confirmations are sent for information only and do not constitute acceptance. We will notify you if we are unable to fulfil an order.
5. Pricing and VAT
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are not subject to VAT. Eazyhosting is not currently VAT registered, and VAT is not charged on any of our services.
We reserve the right to change our prices. Price changes will be communicated to existing customers with a minimum of 30 days’ notice before they affect any active service. Continuing to use a service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6. Payments and renewals
Payment is due at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by credit and debit card through our secure checkout.
Most services renew automatically at the end of their billing period. You will receive a renewal reminder to your registered email address before your renewal date. It is your responsibility to ensure a valid payment method is on file and that your registered email address is correct.
If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. If payment remains outstanding after appropriate notice, services may be suspended. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service suspension due to non-payment.
7. Domain registrations and renewals
Domain name registrations are subject to the rules of the relevant registry (for example, Nominet for .co.uk domains). We act as your agent in registering and maintaining your domain name.
Domain names are registered for fixed terms (typically one or two years). It is your responsibility to ensure your domain renews before expiry. We will send renewal reminders to your registered email address, but we accept no liability for domain expiry resulting from an incorrect email address or a missed renewal payment.
Domain names that have lapsed may be subject to a recovery fee or may become unavailable. We cannot guarantee the recovery of an expired domain.
You must provide accurate WHOIS contact information as required by your chosen registry. Providing false registrant information may result in domain suspension by the registry. Domain privacy (where purchased) substitutes a proxy address in the public WHOIS database on your behalf and is available for eligible domain extensions only.
Certain domain extensions are subject to eligibility requirements (for example, .co.uk requires a UK presence). By registering such a domain, you confirm you meet the applicable eligibility criteria.
8. Acceptable use
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not use our Services:
- To host, distribute or transmit content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or infringes any intellectual property or other rights.
- To send unsolicited commercial email (spam) or to operate an open mail relay.
- To conduct phishing, fraud, or any deceptive activity.
- To distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.
- To conduct denial-of-service attacks or attempt unauthorised access to any system.
- In any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations, including the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and the Communications Act 2003.
- To consume resources in a way that adversely affects other customers on shared infrastructure.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend services that we reasonably believe violate this acceptable use policy, without prior notice where the breach is serious.
9. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- All content you publish, store or transmit using our Services.
- Keeping your account credentials secure.
- Ensuring your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws.
- Maintaining your own copies of data stored on your hosting account (see Section 10).
- Keeping your billing and contact details up to date.
- Obtaining any necessary licences for software you run on our infrastructure.
10. Backups and data responsibility
Where Timeline Backups are included with your package, we provide daily automated backups with restore points retained for up to 30 days. These are provided as a convenience and do not replace your own backup obligations.
You are solely responsible for maintaining your own independent backups of all data held on your hosting account. We do not guarantee the availability, completeness or integrity of any backup or the success of any restore operation, and we accept no liability for data loss or corruption.
Backup coverage applies to shared web hosting plans only. VPS services do not include automated backups unless separately stated.
11. Support
We provide technical support for our Services by email and support ticket at support@eazyhosting.uk. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm UK time, excluding public holidays.
Support covers issues with our infrastructure and platform. It does not include development work, bespoke configuration beyond the scope of the control panel, or support for third-party software you have installed.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and Services without prior notice if:
- You breach these Terms or our acceptable use policy.
- Payment is not received after appropriate notice.
- We are required to do so by law or court order.
- We reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently or maliciously.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@eazyhosting.uk. Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund (see Section 13).
Upon termination, your data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days unless we are required to retain it by law.
13. Cancellations and refunds
30-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with a new hosting plan, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at support@eazyhosting.uk. This applies to first-time purchases of hosting plans only and does not apply to renewals, domain registrations, SSL certificates, or add-on products.
Consumer right to cancel: If you are a consumer (as defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel. Where you request that a hosting service begins immediately upon purchase, you acknowledge that this right may be reduced once the service has been fully provisioned. Our 30-day guarantee above is more generous than the statutory minimum and does not affect your statutory rights.
Renewals: No refund is offered on renewal payments once processed. It is your responsibility to cancel a service before its renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
Domain registrations: Domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once submitted to the registry, as the registry fee is non-recoverable. We will confirm with you before registering a domain if there is any doubt about your intent to proceed.
SSL certificates: SSL certificate fees are non-refundable once the certificate has been issued.
14. Service availability
We aim to provide continuous access to our Services and work with 20i’s infrastructure to maintain high availability. However, we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee and accept no liability for losses arising from service downtime or interruption.
Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive losses, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides certain rights that cannot be excluded or restricted. These Terms do not affect those statutory rights.
16. Changes to services or terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email to your registered address with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The current version of these Terms is always available on this page. The date at the top indicates when they were last updated.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.
We are not currently a member of any alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. If you have a complaint you are unable to resolve directly with us, you may wish to seek independent legal advice.
