Email Setup Support
Set up domain email on phones, laptops, webmail and DNS with fewer surprises.
Professional email on your own domain
Addresses such as hello@yourdomain.co.uk or sales@yourdomain.co.uk make a business look more established than a personal mailbox. Eazyhosting hosting plans include email tools so you can create mailboxes, access webmail and connect common email apps.
If your domain is registered elsewhere, the most important step is making sure the DNS records point email to the right place. If you are moving from another provider, plan the change before switching MX records.

Email setup basics
Webmail
Webmail is the quickest way to check a mailbox because it runs in the browser and does not require a separate email app to be configured first.
IMAP for most devices
IMAP keeps messages synchronised across devices, which is usually best if you read mail on a phone, laptop and webmail.
DNS records
MX records route mail. SPF, DKIM and DMARC help with deliverability by showing receiving mail services which servers are allowed to send for your domain.
Moving existing email?
Do not delete old mailboxes until you know where existing messages are stored. If old messages are important, decide whether they need to be copied into the new mailbox before changing DNS.
For domain moves, review our domain transfer guide and website migration support page so email, website and DNS changes happen in the right order.
